PROPERTY AGENTS REWARDED FOR PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT

Some of the country’s most dedicated property professionals have been rewarded for outstanding achievement in their professional examinations, at a recent industry ceremony. Susan Hornby F.N.A.E.A was awarded Diploma Student of the Year
The students were selected from more than 1,300 property professionals who gained qualifications in letting, sales and other property practices during the last year.
The overall award – Diploma Student of the Year – was won by estate agent Susan Hornby F.N.A.E.A, a Fellow of the NAEA, from Michael Poole, Middlesbrough.
A student of the year was also selected in the categories: property letting and management, residential sales, commercial property, and auctioneering:
- Student of the Year for Technical Award in Sale of Residential Property – Jeannie Kirkbride MNAEA from John Payne, Blackheath.
- Student of the Year for Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management Brett Butcher MARLA from My Let.com, Derby.
- Student of the Year for Technical Award in Commercial Property Agency, Helen Montague MICBA, from Shouler and Son, Melton Mowbray.
- Student of the Year for Technical Award in Real Property Auctioneering, Kevin Forde MNAVA from William H Brown Wymondham
Peter Bolton King, Group Chief Executive of the NFoPP which includes the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the Institution of Commercial and Business Agents (ICBA) and the National association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) said: “Our congratulations go to all the winners of this year’s awards.
“Currently in the UK anyone can set up a property agency – even if they have no experience or qualifications. That’s why our members pride themselves on learning and following best practice to ensure consumers are treated properly and fairly whether buying, renting or letting a property.”
